CV% of this yarn(CVeff)=12.32%

Cotton fibre fineness=1.2 dtex

Index of irregularity=?

By formula-

Index of irregularity=\frac{CV_eff}{CV_lim }

CV_lim=\frac{106}{\sqrt N}

Where N is the number of fibres in the yarn cross section

N=YARN COUNT/FIBRE COUNT

N=20/0.2
N=100

CV_lim=\frac{106}{\sqrt 100}

CV_lim=\frac{106}{10}

CV_lim=10.6

Now,
Index of irregularity=\frac{12.32}{10.6}

Index of irregularity=1.2
