Five grams of 1.5 denier polyester fibre of density 1.39 g/cm³ is packed in a cylinder of 30 mm diameter with perforated ends to make a fibre plug of 20 mm length.

Given-

Denier1=1.5

Denier 2=1.2

$Air flow rate \Alpha \rho \times dia$

$f \Alpha \rho \times D$

$\frac{f_1}{f_2}=\frac{ \rho_2 \times D_2}{ \rho_1 \times D_1}$
