Molecular weight of anhydro glucose unit (agu)=162

The reaction efficiency=100%

The nitrogen add-on%=?

Molecular structure of DMDHEU

N_2C_5H_10O_5

Molecular weight of DMDHEU=178

Molecular weight of nitrogen=28

Nitrogen%=28 x 100/178

Nitrogen% on DMDHEU=15.73

Let the weight of fabric=100 kg

Then, weight of finish=100 x 6%

Weight of finish=6 kg

The number of crosslinks per agu=?

The number of cross links=wt of finish in gm/m.w. of DHDHEU

The number of cross links=6000 /178

The number of cross links=33.70

Similarily,

The number of AGU=Wt of fabric in gm/M.W of AGU

The number of AGU=100000/162

The number of AGU=617.3

Now,

The number of crosslinks per agu=The number of cross links/The number of AGU
