The matrix \begin{bmatrix}1 & 3 & 2\\ 2 & 3 & 5\\ 1 & 4 & P\end{bmatrix} has one eigen value equal to 3. The sum of two other eigen values is

As we know that the sum of the diagonl element of the matix is equal to sum of the eigen values.
P+3+1=3+(P+1)

i.e. the sum of two other eigen values=P+1 (Ans)
