Question 53 (Textile Engineering & Fibre Science)

The thermal conductivity of a nonwoven fabric is given by

    \[\lambda = 0.03+0.00005\rho + \frac{0.15}{\rho}\]

where \lambda is the thermal conductivity of the fabric is W/(m.K), \rho is the bulk density of the fabric in kg/m3, and \rho \; \epsilon \left [ 10,200 \right ].

The minimum value of thermal conductivity, in mW/(m⋅K), is approximately

(A)36
(B)39
(C)41
(D)46
