[Show Answer]
Write Here
Given-
Total quantity of export of all item=5 lakh tonnes
Total revenue=250 crore rupees
Revenue generated through export of item 1 per kg to revenue generated through export of item 4 per kg=?
Revenue of item 1 =(12%) x total revenue
Revenue of item 1 =(12%) x 250 crores=30 crores
Quantity of export of item 1=11% x total quantity
Quantity of export of item 1=11% x 5 lakh=0.55 lakh
So,
Revenue generated through export of item 1 per kg =30/0.55
Similarily-
Revenue of item 4 =(6%) x total revenue
Revenue of item 4 =(6%) x 250 crores=15 crores
Quantity of export of item 4=22% x total quantity
Quantity of export of item 4=22% x 5 lakh=1.1 lakh
So,
Revenue generated through export of item 4 per kg =15/1.1
Now,
Revenue generated through export of item 1 per kg to revenue generated through export of item 4 per kg=Revenue generated through export of item 1 per kg/Revenue generated through export of item 4 per kg
=(30/0.55)/(15/1.1)
=4:1 (Ans)
Option D is correct.
