Molecular mass of H=1

Molecular mass of C=12

Molecular mass of N=14

Molecular mass of S=32

Molecular formula of Nylon 6 polymer is C6H11NO

i.e. , Molecular mass of Nylon6 polymer=6*12+11*1+14+16

Molecular mass of Nylon6 polymer=72+11+14+16

Molecular mass of Nylon6 polymer=113

Now by formula

Average molecular mass(g/mol)=Average degree of polymerisation x Molecular mass of Nylon6 polymer
