A 30 tex open-end rotor yarn having 650 twist per meter is produced using 33 mm rotor diameter and 1,20,000 rotor rpm. The rotational speed of the peel-off point is __121 to 123__x103 rpm.

Fineness of rotor yarn=30 tex

Twist per meter(TPM)=650

Rotor diameter(D)=33 mm
D=33 *10-3 meter

Rotor rpm=120000

Rotational speed of peel off point=?

Solution
TPM=Spindle speed(Rotor rpm)/FRD

650=120000/FRD

FRD=120000/650

FRD=184.6 m/min

Now,
Rotational speed of peel off point=Rotor rpm+(FRD/\pi D)

$Rotational speed of peel off point=120000+(184.6/(3.14 x 33 x 10-3))

Rotational speed of peel off point=120000+1781509

Rotational speed of peel off point=121781.5

Rotational speed of peel off point=121.78 x 103 (Answer)
