If the reflectance of a dyed fabric at \lambda _{max} is 10 %, then the colour strength value (K/S) of the dyed fabric (correct up to 2 decimal places) is ___.

Given in the question-

Reflactance of the dyed fabric(R)=10%

Then,color strength value(K/S) of the dyes fabric=?

By formula-

\frac{K}{S}=\frac{(1-R)^2}{2R}

\frac{K}{S}=\frac{(1-10)^2}{2\times 10}

\frac{K}{S}=\frac{(-9)^2}{20}

\frac{K}{S}=\frac{81}{20}

\frac{K}{S}=4.05 (Ans)
