1. Job Introduction

Central Silk Technological Research Institute (CSTRI) monitors the Post Cocoon Sector with the mandate of Quality improvement, Productivity improvement, Services to the industry, enterprise development and Market Information dissemination. CSTRI has been addressing the problems faced by the industry with constant interactions with the concerned groups it is extending R&D support, technical services, training for use of improved machinery, skills and entrepreneur development. It undertakes promotional activities in post-cocoon sector. The institute has patented a number of technologies, machineries and equipments available for commercialisation. The main motto is propagating the importance of quality of silk yarn by assessment and testing activities at main institutes as also its nested units.

3. How to Apply ?

Eligibility Criteria to Apply:
Must be from Central Government / Autonomous / Statutory bodies
 Must be Level – 11 and above but not beyond Level-13 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
 Must have Master Degree (M.Tech) in Textile Technology (Candidates with Doctorate Degree in Textile Technology will have an advantage).
 Must have minimum of 15 years of experience in Silk Industry, preference given to experience connected with Automatic Silk Reeling Units.
 Age not beyond 64 years as on last date of receipt of applications.
