3. How to Apply

2. Visit the DRDO recruitment portal by clicking here.
3. Complete the registration process on the portal.
4. Get USER ID and PASSWORD.
5. After completing the basic user registration, the candidate must fill in all details correctly along with a valid mobile number and email id.
6. Scan and upload required documents along with a signature and a recent photo.
7. Submit the application and pay the application FEE.

4. Selection Process for STA-B (Textiles)

This is a computer-based test, which will contain objective questions with multiple choices.
There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
Question paper medium will be both Hindi and English.

1. Tier-I Screening Test
   This is a screening test, the marks will not be calculated for the preparation of the merit list.
   The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-I is 40% for UR/OBC candidates and 35% for SC/ST candidates. Candidates will be provisionally shortlisted based on Tier-I examination merit in a ratio of 1:8 (No. of vacancy: No. of shortlisted candidates) provided they secure the minimum qualifying marks in the examination.
   Screening Test Exam Structure:
   No. of Questions : 120
   No. of Marks : 120
   Duration of Exam : 90 minutes
   Exam Syllabus: Quantitative ability/aptitude, General Intelligence & Reasoning ability, General awareness, English language (basic knowledge), General Science
   
2. Tier-II Final Test
   Only shortlisted candidates after the screening test will be called for the Final Test of Merit marks.
   The merit list will be prepared from the marks of the Tier-II test.
   The minimum qualifying mark for Tier-II is 40% for UR/OBC candidates and 35% for SC/ST candidates.
   Final Test Exam Structure:
   No. of Questions : 100
   No. of Marks : 100
   Duration of Exam : 90 minutes
   Exam Syllabus: Test specific to the subject of post-code
