Age Limit	Should not be more than 57 years on the last date of receipt of application.
Educational Qualification	Ph.D. Degree and First class or equivalent in B.E./B. Tech or M.E./M. Tech. in Textile Technology/ Carpet Technology. OR In exceptional cases candidates with Science and Management degrees may be considered. * Minimum 15 years of experience in teaching/ research/ industry, out of which at least 03 years shall be at the post of equivalent to that of Professor in a reputed Engineering or Technology Institute or University. * At least two successful Ph.D. guided as supervisor/ Co-Supervisor and minimum 8 research publications in SCI journals/ UGC/ AICTE approved list of journals.

Desirable Qualification	* Post Ph.D. Publication in Carpet/ Textiles. * A person having experience in the relevant field of teaching as well as in industry. * Administrative experience in a responsible position.
