Government of India is making efforts to develop Technical Textiles capacity and provide conductive atmosphere for growth of Man made fibres and technical textiles.
Now, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India invites Applications from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Mission Director for National Technical Textiles Mission.

Experience Required	20 years (out of which minimum 10 years in Research / manufacturing relating to Technical Textiles) * Additional 3 years experience will be added for PhD degree holders.

Tenure of Engagement	from the date of engagement until 31.3.2024
Duties & Responsibilities	(i) Will mainly look after the research, innovation, patents, and standardisation issues of the Mission; (ii) Will interact with leading Research Institutes / Officers from Academia, Government & Industry Experts; (iii) Shall be responsible for time-bound achievement of yearly milestones and outcomes related thereto set under NTTM; (iv) Shall be responsible for the outcome related to research, innovation and technology development as per the milestones set for the Mission.
